In The Hills Run Red, the Baby Face Killer is a grotesque, masked slasher who stalks film students through the isolated mountains with unnerving persistence. This portrait captures the horror of the character’s expression — the malformed, doll-like mask frozen in a permanent, twisted grin. The muted shadows and stark contrasts echo the film’s gritty, claustrophobic tone, pulling the viewer into a world of blood, vengeance, and cinematic obsession.

Fun Facts:

Behind This Artwork:

I wanted to capture that terrifying dichotomy — something that looks childlike but is utterly monstrous. The image of Baby Face lurking in the mountains stayed with me long after the movie, a reminder of how powerful design can be in horror. Even if The Hills Run Red isn’t widely known, the Baby Face Killer remains a cult icon of modern slasher cinema.
